Battling Siki, Carponticr’s_ conqueror, is in a serious condition in hospital, from a wound in the neck resulting from a stab. Ho was found lying on the sidewalk in a section of the city known as “ Hell’s Kitchen ” unconscious from loss of blood. The police so far have boon unable to obtain bis story.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
