The political correspondent of ‘ The Times ’ says there is little doubt that the Government will have to submit a large estimate to Parliament in order that the fabric of tho Palace of Westminster may ho thoroughly overhauled. Already it has been decided that one turret at the House of ‘Commons end of the terrace must be entirely taken down without delay in view of the large fissures which have appeared. Members who recently examined the structure admit that the necessity of repair works is urgent.
