PIGEON CLUB

THE ANNUAL MEETING. Tho North Dunedin Homing Pigeon Club hold its annual business meeting on July 48, Mr A. Brown (president ) in tlio chair. The club completed another successful year, being able to pay all liabilities. Competition throughout tho season was very keen for the aggregate points, Mr L. Tanks being the successful member. The following patrons and officebearers were elected for the ensuing season :—Patrons, Messrs J. Hutchison. A. J. White, H. J. Duncan, J. Thomson, H. A. Hogg, W. Yates, J. Knowles, O. C. Armstrong, W. Esquilant, G. H. Skene, G. Ncwcy, A. A. Binnie, D. Terry, W. Niven. C. Bills, C. Aberncthy, W. Watson. Dr M'Killop; president, Mr A. Brown: vice-presidents—Messrs W. Watson and W. Trmvorn; bon. secretary, Mr G. Thomson; Finance and Pace Committee —Messrs L. Tonks, A. Fraser. W. Trewcrn, J. Hard greaves: Clock Committee—Messrs J. Hardgrcavcs, IT. Brown, and J. Powell. A very pleasant evening was spent hist Saturday in the North-oast Valley Bowline: Club’s pavilion, Mr Ii 1 . Jones presenting the trophies and certificates to tho various winners throughout tho year. Mueh-apnrceiated items were contributed by Mrs Hutchison, Messrs P. M'Carthv.'G. Swan. A. Fraser. R. Turner, and C. Vonnal: dance music by Messrs Williams and M'Glashan.
