The taxi driver had had a tiring day. and ho felt very sleepy as he drove toward tho garage in the rain. He had gone some distance when a woman’s voice called from inside the taxi: “ Cabman, cabman! Surely you’re going out of your wav?" The driver roused himself. ‘‘Bless- you. ma’am,” he, said, “ I’d forgot alTabout you. I was driving back to the garage. Where-did you say you wanted lo go?”
