Tim Pan's correspondent to the ‘ Dispatch ’ says that cat-calls, boos, whistling and shouts of “ We won’t hoar the friend of the Communists," greeted the cxPremier (M. Herriot)' when ho attempted to address the students of the Latin Quarter. The students still resent the appointment of Professor Scelle ; an ardent Radical, -as lecturer, winch provoked serious riots a few months ago. Police ejected a dozen of the .students amid an uproar, and further ejections occurred during the hour. M. Herriot left the meeting looking pale and angry. Altogether there were twenty arrests.
