The miners’ executive is instructing th-, miners to cease work cn July 31, except a minimum number who will remain lor safety purposes. At the conclusion of a •■eeting of theh miners’ executive and a special committee of the Trade Union Congress, which discussed the possibility of the other unions supporting the miners, a statement was issued urging the Government to convoke an immediate unconditional conference between the miners and the owners, and announcing that a communication had been addressed to the Prime Minister expressing willingness to' meet him.-* Reuter
