TO-MORROW'S FOOTBALL
RUGBY -The chief attraction at Carishrook^ tomorrow will ho the match between University A and Kaikorni. This is bound to create a close and interesting game, and lias proved to bo one ot the attractions of the season during tlio last few years. The weather unfortunately promises to make the ground soft and wot, and will probably prevent the backs from giving as good a display as would have been given had it been fine. There should ho very little between the two teams at the "finish. On the Caledonian Ground Pirates will meet Alhambra, and this should also prove a very closely-contested game. Alhambra have proved one of the hardest teams in the competition, as proved in their display against ’Varsity ’Varsity B will meet Union on the North Ground and Ziugari will meet Dunedin at Montecillo, while Southern will meet Taieri Hovers at Mosgiel. I? UG B V POSTPONEM ENT’S. All Hngby ma teiics to-morrow, except first grade, have been postponed. A notice will be posted at the Sports Depot as to first grade fixtures by ID to-morrow morning. SOCCER ’Flic principal event will ho the meeting of Sen el iff and Northern at Culling Park at 3 o’clock. The Southern-Maori Hill match should prove to bo a close game, both teams being level in the B grade competition.
