MELBOURNE, July 24. (Received July 24, at 11.15 a.m.), Wheat, nominally Gs 3d. Oats; Milling; 2s 8d: feed, 2s 4d. Barley; English, 5s 3d to 5s 9d; Cano, 4a to 4s 3d. Potatoes, £‘lo 10s to £l2. Onions t £l3 10s to £2O. Hides: The market was strong, lights and mediums going in sellers’ favor. Others were firm. WOOL IN LONDON. Trie New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., has received the following cablegram from its London house, under date 23rd inst.; —“ As compared with List sale’s closing rates, prices arc lower) about par to 5 per cent, for medium merino, coarse greasy cross-bred, scoured crossbred, fine greasy cross-bred, and crossbred slipe; higher about par to 5 per cent, for lambs (merino) and crossbred, greasy merino super; about the same for scoured merino super; lower about 5 per cent, for merino inferior and medium greasy cross-bred.
