Mr Coates (Minister of Railways) replied: Reorganisation of the railway workshops on a modern commercial basis is in hand, and in connection with this it will later on become necessary to transfer a certain number of men "from Addington to Hillside; bub this will be compensated for by the removal of approximately an equal number from Hillside to Addington. These transfers, which will bo necessary in order to properly adjust tho staff to tho requirements of the respective workshops, will, of course, ho kept down to a minimum.
