* DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. No sales wore reported this morning, but business was effected in Dominion Rubber at 48s 6d, 495, 495, leaving a closing market with buyers at 495, and sellers at 50s Cd. Bank shares showed a preponderance of buyers, no sellers being present for Bank of New South' Wales, Nationals, a.nd~Commercial Banks, in the insurance .section no buyer was present, while the, selling quotes were practically on a par with yesterday’s prices. P. and O’s are in demand at £295, without attracting any seTlcr. .In breweries, 39s .'ld was offered Tor the shares, and 22s for the ciooonlures. Sellers asked 40s (id and 22s (id respectively. WaiTiis are sought at 25s (id, sellers still standing at 265. Mount Lvells are wanted at 21s Id, but the 4d margin was too wide for business. Quoting for Government Stocks was more or less erratic, but prices were practically the same as yesterday.
