IMMIGRATION RESTRICTIONS
SEAMAN DEPORTED

AUCKLAND, July 23. William Stewart, alias Robert Eadie, a seaman who arrived in New Zealand on May 12, was. on '..he application of the Collector of Customs, ordered by Mr Poynton, _ S.M., to be dovorted. He was convicted of theft at Sydney on November 24, and by landing in New Zealand earlier than two years after the date of conviction has committed a breach of the Immigration Restriction Act.
