The Wanaka left Port Chalmers yesterday for Bluff. She arrived at the southern port at 8.30 tins to discharge part cargo and load for Wellington and Auckland. The vessel should be despatched from Bluff on Thursday evening for Dunedin to discharge the balance of her Auckland

cargo. The Kaitangata left. Timani at 9 p.m., yesterday for Bluff. Tho Breeze should sail _ 10-morrow afternoon for Oamaru, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. The Calm, now in dock at Port mers, will come to - Dunedin on Friday to discharge and S>ad general cargo. On Saturday she is to sail for Timaru ; Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. The Hollinsido, which came up to Dunedin from Port Chalmers yesterday afternoon and berthed at the AUctoria wharf after being granted pratique, brought 250,000 ft of Australian hardwood for hero. Tho steamer will continue her voyage from Bunbury on Friday or Saturday, when she will sail for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. THE FERRY SERVICE. The Mararoa from AAhdlington, arrived at Lyttelton at 7.30 a.m. to-day, and passengers and mails connected with the 12.20 p.m. express. EASTERN CANADIAN SAILINGS. The New Zealand Shipping Company has been advised that the steamer Kartigi sails from Montreal on August 25 for Auckland, AVellington, Pier,on, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is to bo followed in September by the steamer Kiwitea, winch loads for Auckland, AVellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. Both these vessels are new steamers for the Union Company, and after completing discharge will be handed over to them. The Canadian Government Line's agents advise that the steamer Canadian Spinner leaves Montreal on July 25 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton. Timaru, and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland about September 7. CARGO FROM EAST. The Union Company’s AYaikawa is to leave Belawan this week for Singapore, Samarang, and Bunbury to load for Dunedin. Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. The Sussex is due at Calcutta at tho end of this week from Singapore to load for Auckland, AVellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, and Bluff. THE DOONHOLM. The steamer Doonholm, under charter to tho Now Zealand Shipping Company, which left Montreal on May 10 and Sydney (Capo Breton) on May 13 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin, Melbourne, and Sydney, and arrived at Auckland on July 7, left Lyttelton last evening, was scheduled to arrive at this port this afternoon. Tho steamer has about 400 tons of general cargo for here, from Montreal, Sydney (C. 8.), and Newport Nows, and is expected to have the quantity discharged by to-morrow. She is fixed to sail to-morrow night in continuation of her voyage.
