FOUND IN’ CREEK. An Eketahuna Association momajm states that‘a man named Frederick Rogers had been missing from Cox and Cunning’s “Water Falls” Station for nearly a fortnight. . The police organised search parties, who, found bools and some clothing on the banks of a creek, and; this morning advice was received that the body bad boon found in the creek two miles from where the clothing was found. SHOOTING FATALITY. An Association telegram from Whangarci states Hint when cleaning a sporting gun last evening at his mother's residence, Afangapai, David Miller, aged 34, was fatally shot in the abdomen by the accident'll explosion of n cartridge of whose presence in the firearm ho was unaware. ■CYCLE COLLISION. A young woman named Mary M'Gill, who resides at 55 King Edward street, was admitted to the hospital at 9.45 this morning suffering from bruises and shock resultant upon being knocked down in Princes street south, near Maitland; street, by a bicycle. The lady was taken to the hospital by Mr M'Kay’s .delivery van, and was unconscious when picked up and when admitted to the institution. Slio regained consciousness late in the morning. It appears that Miss M'Gill was collided with just after stepping from the footpath to the roadway. THROWN FROM HORSE. Erie Smart, aged 13 years, who lives at Glenclg street, Knikorai, was admitted to the hospital at 10.20 a.m. with a broken shoulder blade and facial injuries. The lad was thrown from a horse.
