INFANTILE PARALYSIS
OTAGO HEALTH DISTRICT ONE POSITIVE CASE A boy of three from Cargill mad was admitted to the hospital on Friday as a positive case. Tho Health Department advised at noon to-day that no further notifications had been received. PRIMARY SCHOOLS REOPEN. Throughout the Otago education district tho primary schools reopened tin's morning after being closed for four months. Although only two days’ notice was given by tho Government, tho reopening was not unexpected, and the majority of the schools had full roll calls .at 9 a.m. to-day. The primary departments of the secondary schools p.W reopened, and good attendance is reported. Tho children appear to be pleased to get back to their desks, having discovered that enforced idleness is not all a bed of roses.
