THE EASTERN TRADE. LON DON, November 25. Tho Eastern and Australian Steamship Company, Ltd., has bought the British India Steam Navigation Company’s steamer Tanda. The Tanda is being refitted, and will bo used next year to meet the increased trade on the Queensland, Manila, and Japan run. [The Tanda, which was built at Glasgow in 1914, is a twin-screw steamer of 6,955 tons.]
