A COMPLETE AGREEMENT
TYPOGRAPHICAL DISPUTE. [Per United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, December 10. Complete agreement was reached in the typographical dispute at the Conciliation Council this morning. No alteration was made in the piece rates. The new_ rates agreed to are:—Linotype operators in the chief cieies, £5 10s ; outside cles, £5 ss, with a corresponding increase to monotype and monoline operators; bulk hand, £5 2s 6d ; second stone band, £5 7s 6d; day work hand compositors, first division £5 2s 6d, second £4 15s 4d. The classification is altered from 7,00 to 6,000. Only minor alterations were made in the conditions.
