The Moeraki is duo to-morrow from Lyttelton, and sails the same day for Bluff and Melbourne, The Wingatui was expected to leave Lyttelton to-day for Timaru, Bluff, and Dunedin. She is due here on Tuesday. The Navua arrived to-day from Auckland via Lyttelton, and sails to-morrow for Auckland via Lyttelton and Wellington. The Waikouaiti is expected on Friday from Sydney via Bluff. Tlie Waitemnta is to sign off her crew, and will remain at Lyttelton until after the Christmas holidays. The Holmdale arrived this morning from Wellington direct, and sails late tonight for Wanganui via ports. The Wahine is looking well after her renovation at Port Chalmers. During her winter lay-up oil fuel equipment has been installed "as a solution of the coal fuel problem. The Wahine leaves at the end of this week to resume running in the Wellington-Lyttelton service. The Gale is expected about 10 o’clock to-night from Wanganui via ports. The Manuka leaves Melbourne on Saturday for Bluff. Dunedin, Lyttelton, and ■Wellington. She is expected hero on December 18. The Storm is due late to-night or early to-morrow morning, and docks at Port Chalmers for overhaul and survey. The Flora sails at 4 p.m, to-day for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Napier, and Gisborne. Tiic Opihi is due to-morrow, and sails the same dav for Westport via Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth. At Westport she loads coal for Dunedin. i

THE FERRY SERVICE. The Mararoa, from Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton at 8.52 a.m. to-day, and passengers and mails connected with the south express. RIMUTAKA FROM LIVERPOOL. The Rimutaka is duo at Lyttelton tomorrow from Wellington to continue discharge of Liverpool cargo. She will unload part of her freight at Dunedin and put out the remainder at New Plymouth. She is due here on Sunday. RUAIIINE FROM ENGLAND. A later wireless message received by the New Zealand Shipping Company from the Ruahine states that the vessel will arrive at Wellington about 7 a.m. on Saturday from London and Southampton. The Ruahine is bringing a large number of passengers for the dominion and cargo for discharge at Wellington and Lyttelton. PORT MELBOURNE REPORTED. Eu route from Liverpool with cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin, the Commonwealth arid Dominion Lino steamer Port Melbourne cleared Panama on December 2. She is duo at Auckland about December 23. ISLAND STEAMERS. The Union Company advises the following movements of the Island steamers : The Kaiwarra, from Sydney, is due at Suva on Thursday, December 11, and will leave for Aucldand about Saturday, Doccraber 13. The Ngalmta was expected to have cleared Rarotonga on Friday for Auckland, where she is due about Ihursday, December 11. The Tofua left Auckland on Saturday, December 6, for Fiji, Samoa, and Tonga. TRANSPACIFIC CARGO SERVICE. The following are the movements of the vessels engaged in the_ Union Company s transpacific cargo service Hauraki, from Pacific Coast ports via San Francisco and Auckland, arrived at Wellington on December 8. She proceeds thence'to Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney towards the end of this week. Waiotapu left Newcastle on _ December 4 for Wellington, thence Fanning Island and Vancouver, to load at Pacific Coast ports for Auckland, Melbourne, and Sydney. She was due at Wellington to-day. Wairuna, from Queensland ports, left Honolulu on December 3 for Vancouver, whore she is due about December 12. She loads at Vancouver and San Francisco for Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney. Waikawa. from Pacific Coast ports via Napier, left Dunedin on December 8 for Now Plymouth to complete her discharge. Trelyon left Union Bay mi December 1 for San Francisco to complete loading for Auckland, Melbourne, Sydney, and Newcastle.

Sheaf Mount, from Pacific Coast ports, is expected to clear San Francisco early this week for Auckland. Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin (and New Plymouth if sufficient inducement), thence Melbourne for Sydney. KON INI FOR DUNEDIN. The Union Company advises that- the new cargo vessel Jvonini was to leave Edith burg to-day Ft Wallaroo, whence she sails on Friday for Dunedin direct. THE PORT HUNTER. The C. and I). Line steamer Port limiter, from London via Auckland and Wellington, is expected to arrive between 4 and 5 p.m. to-day, provided she arrived at the Heads early this afternoon and caught the tide. The vessel has 2.500 tons of general cargo to discharge here. She left London on October 19, and experienced a fair-weather, uneventful voyage.
