C. REED DEAD
ANOTHER JOCKEY SUCCUMBS TO INJURIES. [Per United Press Association.] TAUMARUNUI, December 8. Con Reed, tho jockey who was thrown by Lilac Domino in the Trial Plate at Taumarunui races on Saturday, died in tho hospital last night. Reed’s body will bo removed to Trentham for interment. [Reed’s injuries consisted of concussion and a broken rib.]
