BIGAMY ADMITTED
[Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, December 8. In the Police Court Alexander Robertson admitted three charges of obtaining £2l 15s 9d by valueless cheques at Wanganui and Hamilton; also that he was married at Wellington on April 24, 1809, to Annie Pennell, there being two children, and went through the form of marriage later with a nurse (whoso-name the court suppressed), thereby committing bigamy. He was committed for sentence on the bigamy charge and remanded for sentence on the other charges.
