PROCEEDING QUIETLY. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. BERLIN, December 7. (Received December 8, at 11.20 a.m.) Polling in the Reichstag elections is proceeding throughout Germany to-day. There have been no disturbances. The indicalions are that the poll will be fairly heavy, though not so heavy as it was last May.' Decorated motor cars, bands, etc., paraded tho streets all day long. Women tire appearing in largo numbers at the polling booths. Minor comlicts occurred in Berlin and the provinces, hut they wore not attended with serious casualties.
The results arc being broadcasted, and crowds arc gathering at various points to watch the first returns.
The final result will not be known for elite days.—Reuter.
