LORD JELLICOE RETIRING, ffresg Association—By Telegraph—Copyist LONDON, December 4. Viscount Jellicoe will retire from the active Navy list to-morrow—his sixtyfifth birthday—under the regulation providing for the compulsory retirement at that age of any officer who has hot been employed in naval service during the past five years. Lord Jellicoe joined the Navy in 1872. The ‘ Daily Express ’ points out that Lord Jellicoe will now be free to make a full and detailed reply to the Admiralty and other criticisms of hia conduct at Jutland.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
