ST. KILDA MUNICIPAL BAND
Visitors to the Botanic Gardena on Sunday are assured of a musical treat, as the St. Hilda Band is putting on a. fins programme, including a solo polka by Mr 0. Christie, a selection from Verdi, 'Un Ball© in Maschera,’ and that evergreen overture, ‘Poet and Peaaant.' The band as at present constituted _ should do justice to every item. Again in the evening at St. Hilda rotunda the band will play ‘William Tell,’ one of Eossini’a finest selections, with other items of importance. There will he a special collection for the contest fund. On next Saturday evening the. band will run a concert and dance in the North-east Valley Town Hall
