A HEAVY RAIN.
A very heavy rain fell at Wellington this morning. Some of the streets i r the city were'badly flooded. A considerable length of Hamilton quay was completely submerged. No material damage is reported by shopkeepers. All sports were postponed.—Press Association telegram.
