M. HER RlOT’S* DIFFICULTY. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. PARIS, December 4. (Received December 5, at 8.45 a.m.) A, sensational incident occurred at a meeting of the. Foreign Affairs Committee. A.l. Herriot attended the meeting with tho intention of making a .statement in cotmeciion with the Government's policy. Ha asked nil tho members to undertake to keep secret anything that he might say. Al. Doriot, a Communist Deputy, objected, declaring that lie did not consider himself bound to do anything of the kind. M. Horriot thereupon said it was impossible in the national interests to make the slightest .statement, and ho immediately withdrew.—The Times.’
