Wellington is not to have a Health Week campaign this year, for the council decided last week, upon the recommendation of the Public Health Committee, that the decision previously arrived at should be rescinded, and that tiro next campaign should be set down for October, 1925. Or W. J. Gaudin said the committee did not wish to discount in any way the nature of Health Week', but it was thought that they should -give the workers a rest. Cr C. H. Chapman said that the St. John Ambulance Association and the Red Cross Society wore both doing very valuable work all the year round. Much good could be dona if assistance, .were given to these two bodies.
