‘Der Fmschutz ’ will be given by the Gboral Society nfc Hia Majesty's jins evening. From a musical point of view, the society expects to milder a production of this work on a scale much larger than ever ben offered in Dunedin, about 180 vocalists and instrumentalists will be engaged. The charge for admission will be 2s 9d and Is. For variety of music, the. opera contains almost everything one, could wish and accompvaiments for orchestra, choruses for male and female voices, and also fnlj. choir, solos, duets, and trios (also concerted parts with full choir) by the ladies and gentlemen allotted the solo parts.
