AITKEN.—On August 19th, 1924, at 9 Mandars street, N.E.V., William Stevenson Aiiksn, late of 39 Duke street; aged 80 years. “At rest.”—Private interment from tie residence of Mr A. Pearson, 895 Cumberland street, on Thursday, the 21st inst., at 10 a.KU, for the Northern Cemetery.—R. M‘Lean and Son, undertakers. BAIN.—On August 18, 1924, at her residence, 61 Driver street, St. Kilda, Margaret Alexander, dearly beloved wife of Thomas Bain; aged 56 years. Deeply mourned. Private interment—Hugh Gourley, Ltd., undertakers. CROCKETT.—On 17th August, 1924, at Dunedin Hospital, David Walker Crockett, shipwright, of Port Chalmers; aged 62.
