VISCOUNT KNOLLYS. Press Association--By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, August 15. (Received August 16, at 1 a.m.) The death is announced of Viscount Knollys.—Reuter, [Viscount Knollys, G.C.E., G.C.V.0., was private secretary to King Edward VII. from 1870 to 1910, and he occupied a similar position in the Household of King George till his retirement in March, 1913. He was the head of a family whose ancestors were closely associated with the Court from the time of the Knollys who was Queen. Elizabeth’s Treasurer of the Household. Viscount Knollys died in 1922. Lord Knollys is survived by one son and one daughter.;]
