Franclietti. aged fifty, an Italian resident of Paris, (hiding that his young wile had left him for a youthful admirer named Pierre, sought, the latter at an hotel, where he shot him and mutilated the body with a knilc. His terrified wife barricaded herself in a neighboring room. Franclietti smashed in the door and shot her. He then slashed her throat, despite the presence of his hoy, aged two years am! a-halt.
The police found Francheil i trying to clean (be bloodstains from bis son’s face and l’.;n’r.— A. and N.Z. Cable.
