LITTLE HEWS AVAILABLE. GENERAL BRUCE IN THE DASH. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. DELHI, June 2b. (Received June 24, at, 1 a.m.) Advices from Calcutta slate that there is great bewilderment, at, (ho non-receipt of direct news from the Everest Expedition. The scanty information so far received has come from London. Even General Bruce, who is in Darjeeling awaiting the party, is without knowledge, other than that contained in the English cables. The matter is all the more strange, berm iso Darjeeling has been in regular communication with the party so far.
General Bruce has issued a statement that he knows nothing of tho alleged dis-aster.—-Sydney ‘ Suit ’ Cable.
