Otago Lodge, No. 1, held its election meeting in the hall, Rattray street, Bro. Jones presiding. The election of officers resulted as loliows :—I.P.A., Bro. Jones; A.D., Bro. Ledgerwood; V.A., Bro. Madigan; socretaiy, Bro. Dove, jun. ; P.G.P. ire-elected); treasurer, Bro. Cannon (reelected) : 1.G., Bro. Dove, jun. ; 0.G., Bro. Luky; A.D.B.s, Bros. Hoyne and Huggins ; V.A., Bros. Ross and Walker ; M.C.. Bro. Bryant; P.G.P. (re-elected); minute secretary, Bro. Barton; pianist, Bro. Gourley. Bros. Walker (Linden) ai l Wilson. D.IVs. ■o. 1 and a District, were nominated for the position of D.P., No. 1 District. An official visit was received from Bros. Thompson and Wilson, D.P.s, No. 1 and 2 District, who installed the office;s in their respective chairs tor Die current term.

B'adshaw; substitute. Bro. Lothaby. Bros. Walker (Linden) and Bradshaw were nominated for the position of D.P. U.F.S. Dispensary delegates (Bros. Reid and Lethaby) gave their report of the last meeting, at.d were thanked for same. It was decided to hold a pound night on the occasion of the installation of officers. D.P. Bro. Thompson attended, and received a hearty welcome. He reported the condition of matters in No. 1 District.
