SALE OF WORK
A sale of work in aid of the funds of the Protestant Political Association was opened in the Early Settlors’ Hall this afternoon by Mrs M’Donald, a member of tho Ladies’ Committee. She remarked that the articles displayed were tho result of two months’ work, and that it wae quite apparent that tho ladies had worked hard. Children’s dresses and children’s, ladies’, and men’s underwear were for sale, as were tovs and dips for the juveniles. There will bo a social evening to-night for aU members, when a programme of musical, elocutionary, and dancing items will bo given.
