DUNEDIN COMPETITIONS
Twelfth Day.—Monday. The Dunedin Competitions Society's festival was continued to-day. Recalls as under: Musical Monologue, own selection—Miss Adonia Aitken, -Miss ’Winnie Beck, and Miss Ethel Hilliker. Sacred Tenor Solo, ‘ Crossing the Bar.’— Mr J. Swan, Mr D. M'Neil, and Mr E. Gavin Carter.
Sacred Bass Solo, ‘The King of Love My Shepherd Is.’—Mr H. Guyton, Mr Douglas Oraigie, and Mr Georg© Salmond.
Tliis evening the A grade fife and drum hand contest will take place at His Majesty’s Theatre. The programme wilt also include fancy dance (under ten), vocal solo, chief piano contest, musical monologues, mezzo-soprano solo, step dancing (under twelve), sacred tenor solo, and Ileel o’ Tulloch. Interesting programmes have been arranged for the afternoon sessions to-morrow at the Burns Hall and His (Majesty’s Theatre. The box plan for the demonstrations will open at The Bristol to-morrow morning.
