Canada’s Prime Minister (Mr W. L. Mackenzie King) has arrived at Liverpool. Interviewed regarding post-war conditions, he said that Canada had been hit hard by the collapse of prices and the drain of huge railway deficits. Fortunately the tide had now turned. Canada was anxious to absorb men and women of British slock. He said they were receiving less capital than they desired from Great Britain, whoso investmerits were practically tho ssme as they were before tho wav; whereas the investments by the United States in Canada had vastly increased and were increasing.— Reuter.
