England is enjoying a wonderfully high temperature for this time of tho year. What is termed an “ Indian summer ” is much appreciated by tho lawn tennis players and cricketers, who are thronging the open spaces, notwithstanding that winter football is now only a month old.— A. and N.Z. Cable.
