CHATHAM CUP SEMI-FINAL. The Chatham Cup semi-final at Wellington between Y.M.G.A. (Wellington) and Euntly (Auckland) was won by the former by 2 goals to o.—The final between the winners and Seaclil! (Otago) was fixed for this afternoon. —In the Victory Cup final South Wellington beat Thistle by 1 goal to o.—The junior championship between Johnsoaville and Watersiders resulted in a draw, OLD BOYS v. MOMHIIGTON. A match between this year’s Soccer premiers (High School Old Boys) and Wornington was played at Culling Park on Saturday afternoon. Mornington won by 4 goals to 0.
CHINA v. AUSTRALIA,
MELBOURNE, September 29. Twelve thousand people witnessed the Association contest between Australia and China. This was the visitors’ first match in Victoria. The Chinese put up a good fight, and were unfortunate in losing by 2 goals to 0.
SYDNEY, September 29. The Association Football State Championship final resulted in a draw, Sydney and West Wallscnd scoring 4 goals each.
