At the monthly mooting of the Northeast Valley United Hand of Hope, which was hold in tho Institute, Mr Corlctt provided over a largo and enthusiastic gathering. Tho programme included a solo by Miss Turner, a chorus by tho Anderson brothers, recitations by Armour Aitrhison, Olwen Grace, and Mr Hillikor. Mr F. K. Hilliker gave an instructive address, hiking for his subject ‘Abstain from all Appearance of Evil.’ After tho repetition of tho pledge five new members were added to the roll.
