A house :narandcr received some plight, injuries recently (says the ‘ Southland iNews’). The householders wero out for the evening, and a hoy and a girl in the middle o{ their “ tccais,” who wore left in charge of the house, observed a man at one of the windows. The hoy pluckily ventured outside with his pea rille, and fired two shots at a safe part of the man’s body. The ■ delinquent departed in sore haste. The official influenza precautions issued by the Health Department are almost identical with the directions for taking Flncnzol, which should bo slightly wanned, gargled, and sniffed up twice daily.—JjAdvtJ
