RETURNED SOLDIERS’ CHOIR
The first concert of tho reason is announced for Saturday next. It. will mark tile beginning of tho fourth v jar’s existones of the choir, raid tire interesting programme prepared for its numerous supporters is evidence ex the steady progress being mndo. Air W. Paget Gale, the choir’s honorary conductor, has worked hard to bring the members up to a standard that is expected of any musical society. Amongst the items to be sung is a fine cantata, ‘King Claris Christmas, by Buck; Maunders’s *To Aims ’; Abt’s ‘ Evening '; and tho favorite, ‘ The Imago of the Rose. ’ At this concert no fewer than seven members of the choir will take solo parts; Miss M.
