VIENNA, April 28,
The Communist leaders me dissatisfied with tho compromise between the Socialist Opposition and tho Government on tho subject of doles. The unemployed held a rally, and later marched to Parliament, the demonstrators carrying a red flag with the Soviet star.
The Chancellor (Dr Seipel) could not immediately receive the deputation, whereupon there was a tumult. Tho crowd attempted to storm the entrances to Parliament, and pelted the police with missiles. Several revolver shots were fired, upon which tho foot and horse police drew swords and dispersed tho demonstrators, wounding five. The Chancellor later told tho deputation that he could not do more than ho was doing.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
