SPECULATION REGARDING FUTURE.

LONDON, April 28. Regarding reports from Australia that the Admiralty intends to ask the Imperial Conference to consider a grand pooling scheme of naval resources, the authorities have informed the Australian Press Association that this is a pure conjecture. The Admiralty has made no statement so far, and has formulated no scheme. Its views will bo placed before the Imperial Conference for discussion in cooperation w'ifh’ the dominions.—A. and N.Z.
