FIGHT ON BALCONY
CHILD THROWN TO GROUND. FATHER LEAPS FIFTY FEET, ' LONDON, April 8. “Don’t let him throw me over!” screamed a woman on the balcony of a Maida Vale fiat, 50ft above the ground. Neighbors who rushed into the street saw her struggling with a man, who desisted when they shouted to him. A moment later a child was seen hurtling through the air. followed by the man, who jumped from ihe balcony. The child was badly injured, bub the man landed in some bushes and was only slightly hurt. The man is Mr Penny, a master at the Marylebone Grammar School. He was living with his wife and three-year-old daughter, and the couple are described as having been devoted.
