JUSTICES’ COMMENT. At Fitzroy (Melbourne) when Joseph Thompson, owner of a four-roomed cottage, applied for an order to recover possession of tho premises against the tenant, Mrs Elizabeth Cullen, the latter said she had gone to considerable trouble looking for a house. She had four children. The rent of the house was originally 12s per week. It was raised to 16s fid, and then to 20s. Now it was 21s. She had looked for another place everywhere. One agent in Carlton, on learning that she had four children, said her place was in tho park. Mr Denton, J.P. (chairman) ; I should think his place was in the park. Mr Evans, J.P. ; He should be in his coftin.
