TO TIIK F.niTOH. yir,—The 'writer would like to know if our City Fathers have the right of using the Oval for the purpose of holding the exhibition, and a charge for admission. Ho is under the impression that this property was a gift to the citizens of Dunedin, and therefore thinks the council is exceeding its -power by permitting a charge to be made.—l am, etc., ° N.E.V.
