NORTH PACIFIC ROUTE. Pices Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, April 21. The world flight organised by Captains Norman and Malins will be made by the North Pacific route. ThU holds a great testing span of 3,000 miles—Japan to Alaska—on which petrol depots and landing grounds are not available. An expedition to remedy these deficiencies will start on May l 5 in the steam yacht Frontiersman, under the command of Captain Pocock, whose mission is to survey the seaplane route across the North I. acme and to establish thirty depots at 200-milo intervals betwen Hongkong and Vancouver. The yacht will also attend the trans-Pacific flight as a tender in case of emergency. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
