MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS
Stratford.—Mr J. W. M'Millan has been re-elected mayor of Stratord.—Press Association message. Waipawa.—Mr H. if. Ratlibono (present mayor) and Mr G. H. Hunt are nominated for the mayoralty. There are ten nominations for eight seals on the council,—Waikawa Press Association telegram. Mr G. S. Thomson addressed a very large gathering of railway workers at midday to-day in a yard opposite the Hillside Railway " Workshops. For to-morrow night Mr Thomson is advertised to speak to working men and women in the South Dunedin Town Hall.
