MANDATED TERRITORIES
STATOS OF NATIVES. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, April 19. (Received April 20, at noon.) Sir James Allen and Sir Edgar Walton are proceeding to Geneva, tomorrow to represent Now Zealand and South Africa on tho Mandates Common with reference to determining the nationality' of both white and native residents 'of the mandated territories, also of tho Japaneso mandated territories. Australia will be the only mandatory not directly represented, but arrangements have been made for a British delegate to represent the Commonwealth. It is understood that South Africa will propose compulsory] naturalisation and similar laws relating to natives and aliens within the union of South Africa.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
