MUTUAL STORES, LTD. At the annual meeting of the Mutual Stores, Ltd., yesterday afternoon, the directors' report, recommending payment of dividends at the rate of per cent, on the preference shares and 6 per cent, on the ordinary shares, was adopted. The retiring director (Mr VV. T. Talbovs) was re-elected; and Messrs William Brown and Co. were reappointed auditors. BUTTER AND CHEESE. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cable from their head office, London, dated April 17: —“ Since our last wire butter prices are lower by 4s per cwt; cheese is lower by Bs per cwt; market weak.”
