SEASON OPENS TO-NIGHT. Tho Westminster Glee Singers will commence a return season in Burns Hall to-night. Tho sis adult singers and tho fivo British boys who comprise tho remarkable collection of vocalists who constitute the Westminster Gloo _ Singers form a tender and emotional link with tho Motherland. Every ono of these men and each of these boys is a living reminder of the historic places whence they come. They sing the songs wo love to hear—tho glees, the madrigals, the gay sonnets, tho grave anthems, tho vocal dances, tho folk songs, and all the other beautiful music that New Zealanders rejoice in. Tho world’s tour that the Westminster Glee Singers have just inaugurated is especially designed to carry to tho most distant parts of tho Empire some reverberation of those wonderful examples of British music and British singing. It is satisfactory to know that thoir tour, commencing in New Zealand, has already proved by its remarkable reception that tho public, still appreciate tho highest and the* best in music that unremitting care and careful selection can present to them.

A matinee is announced for Saturday afternoon, and special concessions are offered to colleges and schools, particulars of which may he obtained at Tho Bristol.,
