WILHELM’S FINANCES

ENGLISH BANK AND BELGIAN BROKER, Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. BRUSSELS, December 26. The Court of Appeal has given judgment in a lawsuit relating to tho exKaiser’s fortuve. A Brussels broker commissioned an English bank to cash bond coupons amounting to several million francs. The British Government objected to the negotiation of coupons, as it had received information that they belonged to the ex-Kaiser. The English bank brought an action to recover the amount, and the Court of Appeal, in the first instance, gave judgment in the bank’s favor. Tho Appeal Court confirmed the judgment, and ordered tho broker to refund tho amount to the bank. The Dutch bank which was the intermediary in the case was nonsuited.—Reuter.
